Caught this interview with my favorite living artist as I was flipping through the channels before bed a few nights ago. Charlie Rose is a great interviewer and does an especially good job with the artists I’ve seen him sit down with. When he respects and admires a guest it really shines through.
Sarah and I got the chance to meet Chuck Close at his Self Portrait Retrospective opening while passing through San Francisco back in November 2005.
