We’ve spent the last few weekes ripping out carpet, vacuuming up unbelieveable amounts of sand, pulling up tack strip, sawing, and laying down new “hazelnut oak” laminate flooring. It’s a project we’ve been wantig to do for a while now. We’re probably about half way through at this point and it’s looking great.
If anyone wants to help, we’ve got some kneepads ith your name on them!
and there were mustaches…

I made Wes a birthday cake (see above), but not the old fashioned way. I did it on the computer! I know that it won’t taste good, but it can last forever. Tonight we are having a grill out (or barbeque for those from California) to celebrate. It should be a blast.
Millions
March 31st, 2005. Published under Uncategorized. No Comments.
Over the weekend Sarah and I got a chance to catch a free screening of the movie Millions. I had seen the preview on the Garden State DVD and thought it looked like an interesting story.
The movie follows two Brittish brothers as they try to decide what to do with the “millions” of brittish pounds they stumbled across days after moving to a new town. A couple of twists are thrown in to complicate things — including the fact that the Brits are in the process of making the switch to Euros which coincidentally makes the boy’s newly acquired fortune worthless in a few short weeks.
We definitely recommend checking it out . It’s cute without being overly sugarcoated. It brings up some moral questions without being preachy. It’s an original story that will make you put yourself in the boy’s shoes.
