Baby Update

Wes and I went to the doctor this week and our baby is still in the breech position, so… The doctor has scheduled me for a c-section on 5/26 at 12:45 p.m. This is not 100% set in stone, the baby may turn over any time before that, and if that happens, we will cancel the scheduled appt. and let me go into labor naturally.

So, we’ll keep the updates coming. Once we get to the hospital, Wes will be updating wesandsarah.com often with photos and status updates, as well as if this baby is a BOY or a GIRL! We cannot wait to meet them and can’t believe it could but just over a week away.

Please be praying for a safe delivery and healthy baby. Love you all!

For the past two years I have had the opportunity at work to travel out to Austin, TX for the South by Southwest Interactive festival. The festival is arguably the one of the biggest and most fun gatherings of web professionals each year. It’s been a huge learning experience and inspiration for me on each trip. The dates for this year’s conference are March 9-13.
SXSW sends out an email announcement highlighting the latest confirmed speakers and seminars each month that includes a trivia question that, if answered correctly, enters you into a drawing for free registration to the event. I usually try to enter hoping that one month I might be the winner. I found out this weekend that this month I WON!!!

the WELL week one

Our first formal church service was last night.
It went pretty well overall… a few kinks to work out but it was exciting after months of planning to see it come together.
It’ll be interesting to see how it goes next week (a non-superbowl sunday night)

Santa brought us a 7 month old black chihuahua for Christmas… he’s slowly figuring out that when we yell “BUCKLEY!” we are talking to him. (Click on a thumbnail below for a larger image.)

All of you know the big thing that happened in our life this year, GETTING MARRIED! This letter is more about the smaller things in our life since then. (But you can see our wedding pictures at wesandsarah.com/wedding)
Wes is still working at Edge Media. This summer they wrapped up the editing and production of an English as a Foreign Language production titled Backpack that will be used with textbooks that will teach children in South America and Korea to speak English. Lately, he has been designing web sites. You can see the one he designed for his work www.edgesc.com.
Sarah is working for a marketing company called Mass Media Marketing. She is the assistant to the owner and also does some �graphic design� for them on the side. She enjoys the work and finds it VERY challenging. Making clients happy can be stressful at times, but she has learned so much in the 4 months she has been working there.
We have also been working hard on the house. We really have done a lot to the guest bedrooms and the kitchen. We are also hoping to finish reupholstering a couch pretty soon. And then there�s the raking� it seems like it will NEVER end.
Finally, we are lucky to be involved with a church plant in downtown Augusta called The Well. Wes is helping do the media aspects and I am helping with community groups and events. Please be in prayer for us as we begin this journey with our launch in February! www.thewellaugusta.org
That�s about it for our Christmas letter. If you are wondering about the picture, we didn�t have a pet of our own, so we borrowed Tina from our friend, Napoleon Dynamite.
